Welcome to my second DevBlog for my Space Shooter game, and boy it's a big one.
Since the previous DevBlog, I've done a complete graphics and UI overhaul. I've replaced the assets from my V2 build with completely new and fitting art throughout the game and UI.
Apart from that, I've added tons of new features ranging from homing missiles to a wave system and topping it off with a boss to kill. I won't be going into great detail about everything I've added or changed since it's all covered in the update video on the homepage of the game, but I will summarize it.
- Added 5 enemies
- Added 6 powerups
- Added a speed debuff powerup
- Added wave system with a timer between waves
- Added a powerup magnet that attracts powerups
- Added final boss to defeat
- Added a win game story when the boss is defeated
- Added controls window
- Added a settings window
- Added a pause window
- Complete UI rework
- Redesigned the main menu
That about covers the major difference between Version 2 and Version 3.
